American Red Cross Safe and Well Site – The American Red Cross Safe and Well Website has been designed to allow those affected by a disaster to contact their loved ones and let them know they are safe.

“The Safe & Well program allows those involved in an emergency to register online at www.safeandwell.org so their loved ones can find them and check on their safety,” the agency said in a statement.

From a list of standard messages, an individual can select those that they wish to communicate to the members of their family.

Worried family and friends have the ability to search the list of those who have registered themselves as safe and well. The results display a person’s first name, last name, an as of date, in addition to a safe and well message.
