Ryan Seacrest Stalker: "No Contest"
by Staff

A stalker who jumped into Ryan Seacrest's car with a knife back in September has pleaded 'no contest' to felony stalking, reports AP.

Uzomah, 25, has also been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

In November, a Los Angeles judge granted television and radio personality Ryan Seacrest a three-year restraining order against an alleged stalker, Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., court officials said.

The decision blocked Chidi Uzomah from coming within 100 yards of the "American Idol" host, his home, car and places of employment.

Uzomah, a special forces reserve member, earlier pleaded innocent to charges of stalking and violating an previous court order to steer clear of Seacrest after he was arrested Oct. 30 for attempting to approach the star at his workplace.

He was previously arrested in September for allegedly trying to get in a vehicle with Seacrest, while possessing a knife.

Uzomah faces sentencing on June 14 and the possibility of spending up to 2 years in prison, according to court documents.

Seacrest has continued his ninth season with American Idol uninterrupted, as the finalists get ready to head into the last rounds. (c) tPC
