Many questions have arose in this economy, one of them being - who gets a bailout? Lately several US newspapers have threaten to show down the Boston Globe as they are dwindling close to Bankruptcy. They have asked the White House for a government bailout.
According to the AFP, "The White House on Monday expressed "concern" and "sadness" over the state of the ailing US newspaper industry, but made clear that a government bailout was not in the cards."
Free news online has been reigning supreme over the US newspapers who have been having a hard time getting new readers and circulation. One senator has already introduced new legislation to help US newspapers by giving tax breaks out. (c) tPC
