Actress Mary-Louise Parker has finally done a nude scene in hit Showtime series 'Weeds', but she regrets the entire thing.

Mary-Louise Parker, who plays marijuana dealer and suburban mother 'Nancy Botwin' in the show, was pretty much talked into doing a nude scene in a bathtub recently.

Parker tells 'More' Magazine: "I didn't think I needed to be naked."

"I fought with the director about it, and now I am bitter. I knew it was going to be on the Internet; 'Mary Louise shows off her big nipples.' I wish I hadn't done that. I was goaded into it."

The show's co-executive producer, Roberto Benabib, says the nude scene was necessary to show Nancy's vulnerability: "We felt at that point in her life, defenses had been so thoroughly stripped away."

"There was a nonchalance to the nudity that informed the scene...I thought it was wonderful, one of the five best scenes Mary-Louise has ever done [on Weeds]."

Parker, who has been nude for sex scenes in the show before, doesn't think the scene required her to be fully nude. A video of her nude in a sex scene is here. Photos are here. She doesn't mind these scenes - just the bathtub one.
