O&A Outrage, Now Howard Stern's Bubba The Love Sponge Recording
by Jack Ryan

Bubba The Love Sponge Follows Opie And Anthony Lead? - Opie and Anthony have got themselves into a bit of trouble over a recent broadcast in which a purported homeless man (Homeless Charlie) pays the show a visit.

"Charlie" talks about having forced intercourse with the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice among other woman such as First Lady Laura Bush & Queen Elizabeth.

The bit is not only vulgar, but fairly violent and it all goes on with the encouragement of the show hosts.  At one point Anthony talks about the horror for Rice as the guest is "holding her down" and assaulting her.  They then subsequently invite Charlie to be a regular guest.

Oh, I forgot.. It's not a bit.

What's sad is as vile as that is, it pales in comparison to the audio that can be found here. It's an Rage Against The Machine Spoof by Manson of BTLS.com (Bubba The Love Sponge).

Bubba The Love Sponge is an affiliate of Howard Stern.

In this recording the hosts can be heard giggling like school children as a recording plays in the background suggesting that President Bush should get ebola and bleed out of every orifice. It is suggested that the only way he can stop the bleeding is to "plug the holes" with the genitalia of 2008 presidential hopeful John McCain. It gets even viler with attacks on prominent republicans and talkshow hosts Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh.

Just because it's a parody of how this band feels about things doesn't make it acceptable.

It's a-holes like these guys and many of you who feel it's a free speech issue that embolden people like Marx, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Amin, Chavez. Why, because garbage like this proves there needs to be regulation. But human being are evil to the core and over regulation leads to a nationalist state.

Matt Drudge posted the O& A story on Wednesday. Since it appeared on the Drudge report, everybody in a position of power over radio have either heard it or heard about it, writes Neal Boortz.

Now we have this gem.

While XM and Sirius attempt to sway the forces on Capitol Hill in order to pave the way for a smooth merger, reports Wired News, shock jocks like all these buffoons are going to make it that much more difficult.

NewsBusters asks the question we want to know, Is this behavior acceptable when the targets are Republicans?

Does NASCAR condone this type of humor? They are in bed with BTLS. 2 Time NEXTEL Cup Champ Tony Stewart is a "friend" of BTLS.

I've been a fan of satellite radio since it was first announced. I even own a TON of the stock (which gives me rights to speak about it). And this "Douche Bag" isn't talking about a few thousand shares either.

I believe in free speech which is why I believe in celestial radio. However, I also believe that there are boundaries that shouldn't be crossed. Free speech doesn't mean you can say anything.  If someone yelled "fire" in a theatre and your wife, sister, brother, son, daughter or husband was trampled, you'd be looking for the first trial attorney you could find to sue the venue.  So don't give me that crap.

I get it. It's o.k. if it's not you.

Thanks to all these clowns, the stock prices are going to continue to spiral toward the awaiting ground.
