First: Holy cow, A 10-year-old girl in the Andalusia region of Spain has given birth, and authorities cannot decide whether or not to let the Romanian girl's family keep the baby.
The girl, the youngest known to have borne a child in the region of Andalusia, gave birth to a baby weighing 2.9 kilogrammes at a hospital in Jerez de la Frontera a week ago. The birth was natural. Read more about it here.
Second: Trapped in a storm drain, one small survivor has reignited the hopes of thousands, many of whom lost loved ones in the Indonesian tsunami that struck without warning.
It is believed the parents of both boys were lost at sea.
