DOWN: Netflix Outage Hackers or 'Technical Issues'
by Jim Brogan

Netflix users became worried today after losing service for multiple hours last night. With reports of SEGA's 1.3 million users being hacked yesterday, many worried that Netflix was attacked by a hacker group called LulzSec.

According to reports, the website was down about three to four hours. Netflix answered these claims this morning. Netflix spokesman Steve Swasey said, "Good morning. It was a technical issue that we fixed."

There have been lapses in service in the past 10 months. While you can only count the amount of outages on one hand, they cause worry because Netflix does indeed have our credit card numbers.

Netflix has more than 23 million users. Naturally when outages occur, it's like a cable network going out. Facebook and Twitter than become slammed by users with angry comments of users not being able to access their watch instantly shows and movies. (c) tPC
