For most shoppers, a trip to Walmart is a way to save money.

Investigators in Gainesville, Fla., say Osborne bought a printer from the Lake City megastore on March 10 and swiftly attempted to pass off the bogus cash before being arrested later that day, The Gainesville Sun reports.

Osborne, 30, allegedly tried to spend the fabricated loot at Stubbies & Stein's restaurant.  But an employee apparently refused to accept the funny money, so Osborne paid with real money. (c) tPC
