The 27-year-old sports star - who was married to Kim for 72 days last year - "cannot fathom" why she would want to keep hold of the 20 carat diamond jewellery, and is keen to have it returned to him.

"Remember, Kim filed for divorce. Kris paid for that ring, and he just can't fathom why Kim would want to keep it. It's not like she is ever going to wear it again.

"Kris realises that with Kim it's all about material objects, and she truly treasures things over people in her life."

Kris also wants their divorce proceedings to be filmed, but Kim is said to be against the move.

Among the items his legal team want to discuss is a $325,000 white Ferrari gifted to the couple by a Malaysian businessman.

A source previously said: "Kris wants a divorce trial so that the truth can finally come out. Amongst other matters, he wants to know about the Ferrari that the couple got from a very wealthy Malaysian businessman that attended the wedding.

"Kris was at Kim's house when the car was delivered - it was given to both of them, but Kim has kept sole ownership and has used it extensively. She will be asked about it, under oath, on the stand at the trial."

Humphries also wants Kim Kardashian's disposition to be videotaped.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star's estranged husband is adamant that her testimony is recorded on film, a move which she is said to be fighting.

Although the procedure is the norm in such cases, to be used as evidence if necessary, Kim's lawyer, Laura Wasser, is afraid the footage may emerge before their divorce trial gets to court.

A source told RadarOnline: "Kris' lawyer Lee Hutton has told Laura that he intends to videotape Kim's deposition, which is common practice in divorce proceedings.

"This is done in case a witness becomes unavailable at trial, and the deposition can be used as evidence. Kardashian's camp has vowed to vehemently fight having the deposition taped, they don't think it's necessary and are afraid that it could get leaked to the media, despite assurances from Kris' lawyer all video evidence will be kept in a safe and won't see the light of day until the trial."

The website reports that although Wasser is expected to file documents to ask a judge to intervene, Kris' people are ready to hit back with reasons why they should be for the move and will not back down unless his ex publically apologises for their sham marriage. (c) BANG
