Duff was reportedly stunned when her husband gave her an engagement ring worth $1 million, and in fact, wasn't sure it was even real.

She told Access Hollywood, "I was kind of scared to look at (the ring)! I got a glance and it was like, 'Are you crazy? Are you kidding me? That's not real. There's no way it's real!'

"I don't actually know (the carat size). I wasn't like, 'Now, how many carats is this?'"
