When you are a waitress or a waiter, the last thing you want to see on the table after a family leaves is zero cash left on the table. When your making $2 an hour the tip is everything to you. Well, one family learned last week what happens when you don't pay the tip.

Houston resident Jasmine Marks was locked inside La Fisherman Restaurant after she refused to pay the 17 percent tip that was added to her bill. The family asked to have the 17 percent gratuity to be removed off of the bill but the restaurant declined.

Marks told the restaurant manager that the staffers were rude and slow and her family didn't get all the food they asked for. After things got heated, a staffer called the police to intervene.

The policeman was unable to give a straight answer on weather or not paying the tip needed to be paid according to Marks. To avoid further trouble, the family paid the tip.
