Best & worst celebrity tippers; Jessica Simpson $300 tip, note for waitress. Generous tipper can now be added when describing Jessica Simpson as she reportedly left a $300 gratuity on top of her restaurant bill.
The tip apparently amounted to 60% of the bill, which came to $500 after eating out with her assistant, mother and two other friends at New York Italian restaurant Lavo.

The 30-year-old, recently engaged to Eric Johnson, reportedly ordered a 18-year-old single-malt Scotch whisky, which she consumed along with a veal parmigiano and fried Oreo cookies.
Fortunately Jess will never be lumped in with Madonna, Tobey Maguire, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rupert Everett who have all been named in a book exposing lousy celebrity tippers.
