Wall Street Firms Shower $50 Million On Obama, McCain

As Barack Obama and John McCain lash out at Wall Street for the financial crisis rocking the economy, the presidential contenders are pointing fingers at some of their own biggest donors.

Wall Street firms and related entities have poured more than $50 million into Sen. McCain's and Sen. Obama's campaigns.

The rivals promise actions to prevent situations like those that resulted in the Federal Reserve's $85 billion rescue of insurer American International Group, the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, the federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the acquisitions of Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns. McCain and Obama have called for more regulations on mortgage, credit and financial markets.
