by Toshiba Reynolds

Maybe pay for parking next time? A Wisconsin snow sculpting competition featured an event of a different kind when 15 vehicles parked on the ice fell through into the cold waters of Lake Geneva.

Lake Geneva's Winterfest weekend featured the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition and 15 folks decided to park their vehicles on the ice. One would think they did this to avoid paying for parking as it is difficult to concieve the owners parked their due to overflow.
According to the Lake Geneva Police Department, 15 vehicles fell though the ice and the last one was pulled out of the water Saturday night.

Five of the vehicles that fell into the water were saved, and their owners drove out of the chilly lake, but the remaining 10 cars and trucks were totaled.

No one was injured in the incident, about 60 miles northwest of Chicago, police said.

Authorities say it is legal to park on the ice, but festival organizers said it was not recommended.
