Katherine Jackson (VIDEOS, PHOTOS) headed back to Los Angeles. Randy Jackson told Robin Roberts during a phone interview this morning on ‘Good Morning America,’ that the matriarch of the embattled Jackson family is heading home.

Amid a firestorm of controversy that has divided the siblings of the late Michael Jackson, it appears Katherine Jackson will soon return to her Calabasas compound to be reunited with her grandchildren Paris, Prince and Blanket.

Randy told Robin, “My mom is on her way back to Los Angeles.  It was under doctor’s orders that she go.  Her health was really bad, and he wanted her to go somewhere where she couldn’t be on the phone, and be cut off from the outside world for a few days.” Video here.
