After having all the press and media hounds kicked out of Namibia in an apparent desire to have complete privacy, Angelina Jolie has apparently seen fit to conduct an exclusive interview with NBC reporter Ann Curry.
Guess the queen decides where and when, eh?
According to a story from across the pond, the pregnant actress has conducted an on-site interview in Namibia with reporter Curry for a segment on the Today show, which is scheduled to be aired on Thursday's breakfast show.
Jolie and mate-partner Brad Pitt are famously expecting a child together, a biological first for both, almost any day now. The celeb couple just had officials kick out the entire press corp camping out near their security-laden resort "hideaway" to gain their privacy during this delicate time. But inexplicably, Mrs. Smith then decided to take time from her personal trials warding off the media to talk about her personal causes.
From what we can gather, Jolie is interviewed walking along a dirt road in Namibia wearing a brown tunic dress, matching trousers, cowboy boots and a head scarf. She reportedly tells Curry that her heart bleeds for the suffering children of Africa, like her own adopted daughter, Zahara Marley did.
Jolie says, "She's from a country where six million kids don't go to school every year... Her mother died of AIDS and they wouldn't have had any funds to send her to school."
Curry is the only media person that has been allowed inside their vacation spot to speak with Jolie and Pitt. We are just at a loss as to why they didn't simply come out and speak with everyone, instead of embarrassing people doing their job ... making them rich and famous.
