Britney Spears and Kevin Federline recently had a blow-out fight, but reports of a divorce were apparently premature. The couple had a heated argument Nov. 30 that resulted in Federline having his his credit cards cancelled and his Ferrari sennt back to the dealer.
Britney, after becoming sick and tired of her hubby's party lifestyle gave the stoner an ultimatum.
As of Tuesday, the couple and their 3-month-old son were back together in their Malibu home.
"This has happened before," an insider told People. "They always work it out."
The pop babe allegedly jetted home from Las Vegas - where she enjoyed a break with friends - to be with Kevin and their baby son, Sean Preston.
A source told The Sun: "I don't think she's upset with him because of something specific.
"She's overwhelmed with her new lifestyle - being a wife and a mother - and sometimes takes it out on the people she's closest to and who she knows will stick around."
A source is quoted in Britain's News of the World newspaper as saying: 'Britney has gone through hell and back recently with Kevin. He's been going out and partying, leaving her at home with their son, Sean Preston. Britney has given him a lot of space but he's been taking advantage and doesn't seem to care.
A close friend of the pop star has reportedly declared for Australia's NW that:
"Britney's already seen the divorce lawyer. As it stands, the divorce papers are written up and all she has to do is give the word and they'll be filed in the courthouse. She doesn't want to divorce Kevin, but if that's the best thing for her child and for her own sanity, that's exactly what she'll do."
It would seem that Kevin has determined that losing Britney and his new baby isn't worth all the partying.
