Angelina Jolie may not be on talking terms with her father, actor John Voight, but that has not stopped him from expressing his hope that she will soon be having her own children with beau Brad Pitt.
Voight said that he had high hopes that the 42-year old Pitt would make Jolie a biological mother for the very first time.
"I'm not sure why she hasn't had her own children. Maybe she hasn't found the right father. I like the look of Brad though, I've got a good feeling about him," the Daily Mirror quoted him, as saying.
The sexy 'Lara Croft' star, who is already a mother to two adopted children- Maddox and Zahara, is yet to have her own child.
While Voight seems to approve of his daughter's choice of boyfriend, he's not quite sure what to make of the circumstances that led to their relationship and refuses to see Angelina as 'the other woman'.
Voight says, "A lot has been said about them and you never know what's real and what isn't," according to published reports.
"On the subject of Brad, I really have a nice feeling about him. I'm impressed by his movies and by his persona, and, although you feel the other person's pain, you never know the whole story," the legendary star said.
"If Brad and Angie are going to make a life together and care for each other deeply and are happy together, then I certainly wish them the best," Voight said, according to published reports.
