Rodman Disgusts Cancer Charity Supporters At Cosmopolitan

It never fails that big corporations ask flamboyant and unpredictable celebrities to do their bidding, and then are shocked when the performer goes true to form.

Such seems the case with basketball's wild child Dennis Rodman, who apparently "disgusted" Cosmopolitan magazine bosses when he actually demanded money for a cancer charity photo shoot.

Rodman was asked to pose for a centrefold shot in support of the "Everyman" campaign, a fundraiser to get money for research into testicular and prostate cancer.  But they weren't expecting to pay the big guy a fee, and were shocked when the man who once dressed as a bride asked for nearly $15,000 for his efforts.

According to the gossip-sphere, a Cosmopolitan insider is quoted as saying, "We approached him about posing for us as part of the Everyman campaign, and he said he would be happy to do so. But there was a snag - he was demanding $15,000 for his trouble."

"So he was told in no uncertain terms he would not be required."

Unlike singer/songwriter Lenny Kravitz and rapper Eminem, who were willing to pose for the sexy centerfold photos for free, Rodman earned himself this slap:

"Some celebrities just don't understand the meaning of charity."
