Sir Paul McCartney is happy and "in a good place" after finding love with heiress Nancy Shevell.

The couple has been dating since last year (07), and in recent months, the former Beatle has been busy introducing Shevell to his closest friends and family.

On Thursday (02Oct08), McCartney was all smiles as he took Shevell along to his designer daughter Stella's runway show at Paris Fashion Week in France, reports People.com.

And when asked whether he was having success in his quest for happiness, McCartney replied, "I'm in a good place, I think." (c) WENN
