UPDATE - Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Have Baby Girl: Shiloh Nouvel
In Touch magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie is scheduled to give birth by Caesarean section today, Saturday, May 27. Angelina's doctors have reportedly urged the star to have the procedure due to a minor complication.
"There's nothing seriously wrong," an insider tells In Touch. "They are expecting it all to be routine."
Jolie, 30, is scheduled to have the C-section at a Namibian hospital, reports the insider. The baby, being widely reported to be a girl, will be delivered by her personal ob-gyn, assisted by Namibian doctors, In Touch adds. "Everyone is very excited, Maddox in particular," In Touch quotes another insider in Africa. "He knows he is getting a new baby sister, now they are telling him how soon it will be."
The long-awaited birth is a week before Angelina's June 3 due date and eight days before the Hollywood vamps birthday.
The original plan was for Angelina to give birth at the Burning Shore Beach Lodge in Swakopmund. But the doctors have advised and apparently convinced her that she would be safer in a hospital.
Earlier in the week, Life & Style reported that Angelina's doctor would induce labor on June 3, unless the actress managed to deliver naturally before then. The natural presumtion was that if she didn't give birth by her due date ( the 3rd ) she could induce and have the baby on or just before her birthday. It all made sense and it's a shame that it appears it may not work out that way.
