British electronic band Goldfrapp are the hot favourites to record the new James Bond theme.

The group - famous for hits like 'Fly Me Away' and 'Ride A White Horse' - are reportedly in final negotiations to provide the title track for new 007 adventure 'Casino Royale', which stars Daniel Craig as the suave spy.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Alison and Will are absolutely thrilled. Nothing has been signed yet, but they're the hot favourites.

Artists to have recorded Bond themes in the past, include former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, Madonna, Tina Turner and Dame Shirley Bassey.
