95-Year-Old Man Stung 600 Times By Killer Bees
by Staff

A swarm of possibly 'killer bees' has almost killed a 95-year-old man from Redondo Beach, California. This unnamed man has survived after being stung around 600 times. According to reports, he has been released from the hospital.

Authorities didn't confirm that the man was stung by killer bees from Africa.

MSN reported, "The bees were agitated by a fumigator that was trying to exterminate the hive in an apartment roof nearby, police said. The man was walking in the 1700 block of Ruxton Lane when he was attacked. Firefighters responding to the scene also were attacked by the bees, but because they were wearing protective gear, the firefighters were not stung."

The L.A. Vector Control set up warning signs and they have cordoned off the area to prevent more attacks. No one needs to be evacuated said authorities. (c) tPC
