He wrote in the book, "I love Kate, but ... she had done stuff which is just awful. She is a spoiled brat in my eyes."
And according to her father, Kate hasn't contacted him or her grandmother in years. He said, "Kate doesn't have to talk to me, and she doesn't have to give [me] a dime of her millions. All I want is for her to call [her grandmother] and say, 'Hi grandma,' before it's too late."
The book's website states: "Life in the spotlight is not without its consequences, and the Hudson family was no exception. While enjoying success as a part of the 1970s musical group The Hudson Brothers, Bill Hudson fell in love and married actress Goldie Hawn.

The website of '2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family' continued: "His book also talks about how parents can often become alienated from their children when they don't have primary custody. Hopefully, at some point, this family will be able to have a healthy adult relationship before it's too late."
