"Treme" actor Michael Showers has been found dead in the Mississippi River.

Michael Showers' body has been found in the Mississippi River after the actor disppeared after a night of partying with a friend. His body was found Wednesday, almost two days after going missing.

The 45-year-old Louisiana native is best known for his role as Captain 'Guidry' on the show "Treme". He was repported missing by his girlfriend on Tuesday when he never returned home the night before.

Foul play has not been ruled out.
