If it turns out to be true, Davis will join an infamous list of stars who've had tapes released into the public arena.

The seller has reportedly released the pics, one at a time, in oder to entice would-be buyers.

The spate of tapes recently led blue film legend Ron Jeremy to claim that some stars deliberately release these tapes of themselves to revive their flagging careers.

"I love the excuse they use: 'Oh, I don't know how they got a hold of it!' It's such a big joke now. Any celebrity that's not doing so good, they jump by having a good ... scandal."
