Carla Bruni Sarkozy, a former supermodel and now the pregnant wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has more than one nude photo that has surfaced on the internet since news that one of them was up for auction.

As Mrs. Sarkozy took Britain by storm a week or two ago, prompting a media frenzy in Britain as publishers and newsies fell over themselves trying to get interviews and snaps of the "new Diana".

One leading London agent told the Telegraph: "We have all gone Carla crazy. She does have, if she wants it, the world at her feet."

German collector Gert Elfering is auctioning his collection of bare celebrity photos at Christie's in New York in April - and of the 135 pieces, a few of them are of French First Lady Carla Bruni.

Bruni began modelling at 19, working for Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Yves Saint-Laurent, Chanel and Versace. By the 1990s she was among the 20 highest-paid fashion models in the world.

Bruni will now become the most photographed first lady since Jackie Kennedy.

Flisted dishes: The auction, which takes place April 10, is expected to bring in over $4.5 million. Michel Comte, the photographer who snapped the now famous photo said of it:

"I have other nude photographs of Carla far more explicit, but I would never sell them."
