Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has blasted his ex-wife Dina for missing a court-ordered family therapy session so she could pick up a mother of the year award.

Michael claims Dina's decision to skip the meeting on Tuesday (6May08), so she could accept her prize as one of Minglingmoms.com's "top mom's" at a Long Island, New York ceremony, was contempt of court.

And he mocks her status as a "top mom", telling Tmz.com, "She's meant to be here in therapy as ordered by the court. If she's not, she's in contempt of court, meaning she's missed more than 60 per cent of appointments.

"Is she a top mother for doing that? What is she putting first? If it was me, I would be in jail. I hold myself accountable - she doesn't." (c) WENN
