Kate Pierson naked? It would seem so. B-52s singer Kate Pierson now finds herself at the center of a nude photo scandal.

The picture of the woman purported to be the star appeared online at the gossip web site PerezHilton.com.

The woman strongly resembles the now 60-year-old singer and is pictured smiling as she poses completely without clothing on a bed with her breasts and crotch exposed. It has appeared on a number of websites.

According to Perez, the Love Shack singer's photo was snapped by a former lover who fell out with the star and purposefully leaked the photos online.

Pierson popularised the new wave rock sound alongside fellow singer Cindy Wilson after the pair formed the band in 1976.
