American Idol judge Paula Abdul, the 'good cop' type, is claiming that she and new American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi are not fighting with each other.

Here's the scoop - Paula Abdul was rumored to be against the decision to hire DioGuardi for the new season of the hit U.S. talent show, which kicks off in 2009.

But Paula is adamant she harbors no animosity toward DioGuardi, telling Page Six that Kara is like a 'sister'.

She says: "The American Idol cast was such a boys club, now I have a true sister to share the fun with. It's been amazing."
