Police have been analyzing small pink pills that were confiscated at a school in Council Rock High School North after four students had taken them and became so ill they needed to go to the hospital.
These kids where found high off of these pink pills called "SNURF" that were supposedly herbal. The drug was bought over the internet and now we have the Newtown Police analyzing the pills.
According to Myfoxphilly.com, "At about 11:45 a.m. Monday, a resource officer at the high school -- located on Swamp Road in Newtown -- requested an ambulance for a 16-year-old who was under the influence of an unknown substance. The officer then called for additional ambulances when other students demonstrated some indication of an altered state. School officials said all four of the 10th-grade boys were transported to St. Mary's Hospital by ambulance. One male student who was in possession of the substance gave it to the staff members."
These 10th-grade boys were rushed to St. Mary's Hospital, thankfully one of the students had given the staff members the substance instead of hiding it away.
One of the children has already been released as the other three were transferred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
In a press release school officials stated that the packaging of 'SNURF' said it was an herbal supplement that had a mood altering ability. School officials have remarked that if anyone possesses it that they should throw it away immediately and contact the police.
Police have begun their investigation of 'SNURF'. (c) tPC
