Heelarious baby heels, made by childhood friends Britta Bacon and Hayden Porter after giving birth to their daughters, are stirring up some chatter!

Heelarious is the brand name of new high heels for babies. The heels, which come in several girly colors, are squishy and comfortable for any baby girl.

The shoes are designed only for babies that are from 0-6 months old. The shoes are getting a lot of attention and press after a few celebrities fell in love with the shoes.

As for the general public, some love the idea - and some hate it. Some think the shoes are fun and hilarious while some feel we're "sexualizing" children too much these days.

So how did Heelarious come to life? Britta Bacon & Hayden Porter are childhood friends turned business partners. While Hayden was completely obsessed with high heels, Britta wasn't even sure if she owned a pair. On her way to her daughter Kayla's 4th birthday party, Britta was reminiscing about when Kayla was a baby and Hayden's shoe obsession crossed her mind. She thought to herself "That would have been hilarious if I could have brought Kayla to a party in high heels when she was a baby". It was at that moment that Heelarious was born.
