U.S. paralympic swimmer Erin Popovich is speaking out for all disabled people of the world, discussing sports and influences.
Erin Popovich said Monday: "Sports have a huge influence on the disabled -- both athletes and the average."
"Hopefully, the Paralympics here is helping create awareness in all people with physical disabilities, and we really see an increase in Paralympic Games."
Popovich, nick-named the 'Michael Phelps' of the Paralympics with four golds and two silvers at current, is proud to be honored as 'Phelps':
"He is a phenomenal athlete. I'm very proud to be mentioned in the same sentences with him," Popovich said.
Phelps is "the greatest swimmer of all time".
