Jeff Foxworthy has signed with Fox for a new animated series, projected to be a replacement for the network's aging "King of the Hill" cartoon.
Foxworthy, the source of all of those "You might be a redneck if ... " jokes, will provide the voice for the lead character in a comedy about a dysfunctional family in the world of NASCAR racing
Foxworthy, who also hosts Fox's game show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" will write the show, along with 10 Items or Less exec producers Nancy Hower and John Lehr, reports Variety.
Foxworthy's voice will be used in the pilot, writes Variety.
Foxworthy's other TV credits include Blue Collar TV and The Jeff Foxworthy Show.
