American Idol Clay Aiken has revealed the worst kept secret in America - the father Of Jaymes Foster's baby is gay.

According to new Internet reports, the former American Idol star 'comes out' in the new issue of People magazine, as part of a photospread featuring him and his new baby son Parker, who was born in August (08).

The singer has been dogged by gay rumours for the past two years after an alleged one-night stand took his story to the U.S. tabloids.

Aiken has refused to talk about his sexuality ever since.

He's not the first star to 'come out' to People magazine - pop star Lance Bass confirmed he was gay in the publication in 2006. (c) WENN
