Carlson spent five years at CNN where he co-hosted "from the right" the long-running "Crossfire" until its cancellation.

Carlson also hosted the 6PM hour on MSNBC for three years, when his show, "Tucker," was canceled in March of 2008.

Since that transpired, he has served as a senior campaign correspondent for MSNBC and has also written for The Daily Beast.

Carlson's first appearance came on his 40th birthday, where he was a guest on Fox & Friends.
