James and Janine had a daughter when they were married in 2002. Since 2003, James left Janine and started dating Sandra Bullock, whom he in turn married in 2005.

James and Bullock have been taking care of the child since he gained temporary full custody, after Janine was sentenced to 6 months in prison for not paying back taxes - despite buying a $650,000 home. Now that Janine is out, she wants her child back from James.

According to reports, Bullock and James may very well get full custody of the child. The couple said they would make for a better home for the girl, and James asked the Orange County judge that Lindemulder prove that she could provide a safe environment for the child, away from drugs, pornographers, felons, guns, and any other environment deemed dangerous.

Bullock, 45, has never had kids of her own. There have been rumors though that she regretted the fact that she didn't. There is also a rumor that Janine sent a text message to James from prison saying "U win. Sandra finally has her baby - congratulations."

Lindemulder is currently in a halfway house in Los Angeles. She has been ordered to pay $294,000 to the government.
