According to a new study, the length of your life truly depends on where you live.
A new report out from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Center for Health Statistics, people in Mississippi have a 20 percent shorter life span than the national average.
Mississippi tops the list, but it isn't the only state that you're more likely to die in. Walletpop lists them below:

2. Alabama
3. West Virginia
4. Louisiana
5. Oklahoma
6. Kentucky
7. Tennessee

9. South Carolina
