Week 8 of the NFL saw the Ravens handed the Broncos their first loss of the season, the Colts remained undefeated and Brett Favre threw four touchdowns in his return to Lambeau Field.

Colts 18, Forty-Niners 14: Joseph Addai threw the only touchdown pass for Indianapolis when he connected with Reggie Wayne for a 22-yard score in the final quarter to rally the Colts past San Francisco and keep them undefeated. Peyton Manning finished 31 of 48 for 347 yards but did not throw a touchdown pass for the first time in ten games. Addai rushed 20 times for 62 yards and Wayne made 12 catches for 147. Frank Gore's 64-yard scoring run and an 8-yard hook-up between Alex Smith and Vernon Davis had San Francisco in the lead for most of the game but they fell for the third week in a row. Smith, making his first start of the season, completed 19 of 32 for 198 yards with one interception, Gore gained 91 yards on 13 carries and Michael Crabtree caught 6 for 81 yards.
Eagles 40, Giants 17: Donovan McNabb threw three touchdowns while Eli Manning threw two picks and Philadelphia handed New York their third loss in a row. McNabb went 17 of 23 for 240 yards, connecting with Brent Celek, DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. LeSean McCoy, subbing for the injured Brian Westbrook, rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Jackson made 3 catches for 78 yards. Manning finished 20 of 39 for 222 yards with a second quarter scoring toss to Kevin Boss. Brandon Jacobs carried 20 times for 86 yards and Boss caught 3 for 70.
Dolphins 30, Jets 25: Tedd Ginn Jr. returned two kicks for a touchdown and the defense made a stop in the final minute as Miami defeated the Jets for the second time this season. Ginn Jr. answered scores by the Jets with returns of 100 and 101 yards while Jason Taylor took a Shonn Greene fumble 48-yards for a score in a third quarter that saw a 3-3 game explode into a 24-19 see-saw battle. Chad Henne was just 12 of 21 for 112 yards but his fourth quarter touchdown pass to Dustin Keller became the difference when the defense stopped the Jets from scoring after they reached the nine yard line with 1:42 to go in the game. Ronnie Brown picked up 27 yards on 11 carries and Ricky Williams made 2 catches for 41 yards. Mark Sanchez finished 20 of 35 for 265 yards and two touchdowns, Thomas Jones gained 102 yards on 27 carries and Keller caught 8 for 78 yards.
Cowboys 38, Seahawks 17: Tony Romo threw three touchdowns and went his third straight week without an interception, leading Dallas to a third consecutive win. Romo finished 21 of 36 for 256 yards, connecting with Sam Hurd, Roy Williams and Miles Austin, piling up a huge lead on Seattle. Marion Barber carried 14 times for 53 yards and a touchdown while Austin made 5 catches for 61. Matt Hasselbeck completed 22 of 39 for 249 yards with scoring tosses to Deion Branch and Justin Griffith. Julius Jones gained 56 yards on 15 tries while Nate Burleson caught 6 for 89 yards.
Texans 31, Bills 10: Two Matt Schaub interceptions, Terrell Owens 29-yard double reverse and Rian Lindell's 21-yard kick gave Buffalo the early lead but Ryan Moats scored three times in the fourth quarter for Houston's third straight win. Schaub went 25 of 34 for 268 yards with Andre Johnson grabbing 6 for 63. Moats carried 23 times for 126 yards, scoring from the 11, 1 and 3 yard line. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 15 of 23 for 117 yards with two picks. Marshawn Lynch gained 43 yards on 9 tries and Owens caught 5 for 39.
Bears 30, Brown 6: Matt Forte scored twice and Charles Tillman added a 21-yard interception return and Chicago avoided a third straight loss by taking advantage of the winless Browns. Jay Cutler went 17 of 30 for 225 yards with one interception and Jacob Hester making 7 grabs for 81 yards. Forte carried 26 times for 90 yards, scoring on 1 and 10 yard runs. Derek Anderson completed 6 of 17 for 76 yards with two picks, Jamal Lewis gained 69 yards on 16 carries and Mohamed Massaquoi made two catches for 28 yards.
Rams 17, Lions 10: It wasn't pretty but St. Louis stopped their 17-game losing streak when Stephen Jackson ran it in from 25-yards with just 1:38 to play. Marc Bulger was just 17 of 35 for 176 yards with an interception, the only touchdown pass coming on a fake field goal that punter Josh Brown turned into a 36-yard score. Jackson picked up 149 yards on 22 tries and Keenan Burton caught 5 for 54.
Vikings 38, Packers 26: Brett Favre threw four touchdowns in a game for the 21st time in his career, tying Dan Marino's NFL record, and led Minnesota to a big win over his former team. Favre went 17 of 28 for 244 yards, connecting with Visanthe Shaincoe, Percy Harvin, Jeff Dugan and Bernard Berrian. Adrian Peterson carried 25 times for 97 yards and Harvin made 5 grabs for 84. Aaron Rodgers led his team back from a 24-3 deficit with three touchdown passes of his own, two to Spencer Havner and another to Greg Jennings but it would not be enough to overcome the return of his one-time mentor. Rodgers finished 26 of 41 for 287 yards with Jennings pulling in 8 for 88 yards. Rodgers was also the leading rusher with 52 yards on 5 carries.
Titans 30, Jaguars 13: A 228 yard rushing day by Chris Johnson helped Vince Young get a win in his first start since opening day of 2008 and Tennessee's first of the season. Johnson scored on two big runs, breaking away for a 52 and 89 yarder in the second half to break open what had been a 13-all game near the start of the third quarter. Young completed 15 of 18 for 125 yards with a 6-yard scoring toss to Nate Washington while Justin Gage made 3 catches for 41 yards. David Garrard completed 14 of 27 for 139 yards with two picks and Mike Thomas grabbing 4 for 55 yards. Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 177 yards and two scoring runs of 80 and 79 yards.
Panthers 34, Cardinals 21: Jake Delhomme's 50-yard touchdown pass to Steve Smith and Julius Peppers's 13-yard interception return capped off a big first quarter for Carolina as they upset last year's NFC Champions. Delhomme was just 7 of 14 for 90 yards overall and Smith other two catches went for six more yards but DeAngelo Williams ate up alot of clock with his 158 yards on 23 carries. Jonathan Stewart finished off two first half drives with a 6 and 10-yard scoring run. Kurt Warner completed 27 of 46 for 242 yards with two touchdowns but he also threw five interceptions and fumbled for his worst turnover total in his entire career. Beanie Wells rushed for 47 yards on 8 carries and Larry Fitzgerald caught 6 for 66.
Chargers 24, Raiders 16: LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for two touchdowns and Phillip Rivers added a scoring toss to Vincent Jackson as San Diego beat Oakland for the 13th straight time. Tomlinson scored on a 6-yard run in the Chargers first play from the Wildcat formation this season, then later added a 10-yard run to finished with 56 yards on 18 carries. Rivers went 9 for 9 in the second quarter, including his 8-yard connection with Jackson but finished just 16 of 25 for 249 yards with an interception that deflected off the hands of Jackson. Jackson caught 8 for 103 yards.
