Wow...now that's Baseball! Johnny 'Dangerous' Damon pulled off a very rare double steal in Game 4 that is having a lot of fans talking. The Yankees quite literally stole this victory away in the 9th inning.
Yankee Johnny Damon got a single in the ninth, from there he stole second and immediately third when Phillies pitcher Brad Lidge wasn't where he was suppose to be. After the big play, Lidge hit Mark Teixeira with a walk and Alex Rodriguez drove in two runs with a double.
According to UPI, "Jorge Posada -- who had three RBI on the night -- drove in Teixeira and Rodriguez to put the Yankees ahead 7-4 and closer Marian Rivera retired the side in the bottom of the ninth to seal the victory. Yankees starter CC Sabathia allowed three runs on seven hits over 6 2/3 innings with three walks and six strikeouts. Joba Chamberlain got the win in relief."
It was a fantastic and gripping game till the end. Check out the video below to see the highlights and the double base steal. (c) tPC
