The Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators faced off in a tense but decisive game. The Gators won 41-17 but that isn't what is grabbing headlines.
Brandon Spikes of the Florida Gators was caught possibly red-handed purposely eye gouging a Bulldog player in the College football game. Florida Coach urban Meyer told reporters and fans that he is going to have a talk with Brandon Spikes and depending on what happened he may face punishment.
According to the Miami Herald, "The incident occurred during a pile-up, and though Spikes was not flagged for the behavior, strong video evidence showed Spikes shoving his hand into Ealey's facemask. On Sunday during his weekly post-game conference call, Meyer indicated that he was unaware of the eye-gouging..."
The game was extremely intense. Players on both sides of the ball looked fierce really wanting victory. Check out the video below. Do you think it was on purpose?
