Mary J. Blige is heading home to The Bronx, New York to perform the U.S. National Anthem at the upcoming sixth game of baseball's World Series at Yankee Stadium.

The No More Drama diva will sing The Star-Spangled Banner before the New York Yankees take on the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday (04Nov09).

The Bronx-born star is the latest musician to sign up to sing at the baseball battles - John Legend and Alanis Morissette have already performed the anthem.
