Pvt. Jonathan Law is a supply administration clerk. The victim is dead. The name has not been released yet but according to reports from the base there were no gunshot wounds on the victim. Law is currently in the Greenville hospital.

WITN reported "Captain Timothy Patrick says the dead Marine's body was found in the woods in the French Creek area of the base. Patrick told WITN News that Law is at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, from apparent self inflicted injuries. He is in serious condition."

Law, 21, joined the Marines in 2006. He is a supply administration clerk assigned to 2nd Supply Battalion and 2nd Marine Logistics group.
