Rihanna has broken the silence and spoken out about the Chris Brown attack on her. She told audiences on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer: "It could happen to anyone."
Rihanna also laid down some regrets. She said she regretted going back to Brown after what he did to her.
"It's completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself," the 21-year-old singer said on "Good Morning America". "I'll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence: 'Don't react off of love."'
Rihanna spoke of how her feelings got in the way with what happened with Chris Brown. Rihanna told Sawyer just how deep her feelings ran and having to come to terms with what happened caused extreme heartbreak.
Chris Brown recently said about the assault: "I'm human. If people feel a certain way, I'm not going to say they're wrong. But it's not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time. I've learned from my mistakes and I'm learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it."
Rihanna cited Chris Brown as her first "Big Love". Going from love to punching her in the face and biting her arms is quite the sign that something isn't quite right in the head of Brown. Brown was sentenced to 6 months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counseling, and five years probation. To top it off with some whip cream, he is to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna for five years. Yikes! (c) tPC
