Jessica Simpson's mother, Tina, would seem to be just as controlling as her father/Manager Joe Simpson, according to reports.
While on the set of a recent photo shoot Tina was on hand to make sure that the images would not end up looking too sexy and taint her daughter's girl next door image, reports Entertainmentwise.
Apparently, the original plan was for Simpson to be photographed posing in her underwear while a sexy hunk buttoned up his shirt behind her on a bed.
However Mama Simpson was none too happy and demanded that the male model keep his pants on. For some reason, Papa Joe had no problem at all.
According to an OK! Magazine source, Tina was shouting "Time out! Hold it. Nope, this isn't going to work."
The source continues: "Tina dug in her heels and said there was no way she'd allow Jess to appear in the layout the way it was designed. She said the pose was too risqué and made Jessica look slutty. Joe was perplexed."
Tina reportedly scolded her husband: "Trust me, I'm her mother. This isn't the image we want."
One would think at the age of 26 that Jessica would be the one calling the shots and not family members taking turns.
