Peter Cook, Christie Brinkley's estranged husband, has apologised for cheating on her - with teenager Diana Bianchi.
Earlier this month, the model announced she was separating from architect Peter Cook after 10 years of marriage.
Brinkley - who was once married to singer Billy Joel, who wrote the song 'Uptown Girl' about her - was left devastated after she found out her 47-year-old husband was seeing Diana Bianchi, 19, behind her back. Cook has now said sorry for his actions.
He said: "I love my wife. I have loved her since the day I met her. For a lifetime, I've tried to prove how much I love her. This is an aberration. I'm sorry. I'm contrite. I'm stupid. Foolish. No excuse.
His lawyer, Norman Sheresky, added: "He got involved, in over his head somehow, and he wants to make it up to her for the rest of his life. My client is a man who loves his wife and who loves his children."
Meanwhile, Cook, 47, has also been accused of having a fling with 29-year-old pop singer Samantha Cole ten years ago, according to Bang Media.
She claims the couple have "maintained a friendship on and off" over the last few years said he had been in touch recently to warn her that "some people might call" her.
