Kim Kardashian's has credited her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush for helping her overcome her sex tape shame.

Kim Kardashian, the socialite was devastated when X-rated footage of her with former boyfriend Ray J was made public in 2007 and admitted it was only when she started dating NFL player Reggie later that year that she was able to come to terms with her embarrassment.

She said: "I mean, there's this, you know, embarrassment and shame and so much that comes along with it. And I think that I was so lucky to find a boyfriend at that time in Reggie - that we were together for four years - and that was something that he really helped me through.

"He picked me up when I couldn't pick myself up. And he, you know, and that's what my family was for as well. So, I feel like I've dealt with it and now, I move on from it, and I don't really go there."

She said: "I'm having a good time and he's a really good person. And I think this time around, you know, I've learned to be a little bit more low key and private.
