SpaceX Successfully Lands Reusable Falcon 9 Rocket [PHOTO/VIDEO], Makes History
by Tashi Singh

SpaceX has successfully landed [PHOTO/VIDEO] their reusable Falcon 9 rocket, making history. I guess we can consider the space industry revolutionized.

On Monday night, Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX made history, demonstrating their reusable rocket technology.

The feat was so awesome that Space.com made a greatest hits video of the SpaceX rocket landing here, but the company itself captured the view with some amazing images.

It was without a doubt a spectacular moment for the space industry: Only months after the setback of a launch explosion. The Falcon 9 failed its last mission to deliver a SpaceX Dragon capsule of supplies to the International Space Station on June 28. The exploded rocket "experienced an anomaly," SpaceX said at the time, "which led to a failure of the mission."

In November, SpaceX was contracted by NASA to lead the company's first manned mission to the International Space Station. The order is the space agency's second as part of its Commercial Crew Transportation Capability program since contracting aerospace company Boeing in May.

The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft is set to transport astronauts in 2017.
