AWW! Video Shows World's Smallest Monkeys Have Given Birth
by Tashi Singh

Cute Alert! An Australian wildlife sanctuary was the backdrop as a pair of pygmy marmoset monkeys gave birth to some exceptionally tiny babies.

Symbio Wildlife Park in New South Wales shared a video announcing the birth of the baby monkeys, revealing them riding along on their mom's back.

"World's smallest monkeys 'Iti and Gomez, the pygmy marmosets', have celebrated the arrival of two precious little miracles, weighing in at just 15 [grams]," they wrote.

A Pygmy marmoset reaches a maximum weight of about 3 ounces and when fully grown and can fit inside a person's hand.

The extremely timy babies make even their small parents seem large in comparison as the newborns both cling in comfort to their mom's back.
