Phelps splits with Nicole Johnson (PHOTOS, VIDEO). Michael Phelps has reportedly split with his longtime girlfriend Nicole Johnson.

The 26-year-old Olympic champion and the former Miss California had been dating on and off for several years, the New York Post reported.

She even travelled with him in July to the FINA World Championships in Shanghai. According to sources, the couple broke up a few weeks ago.

Phelps is now seeing Megan Rossee.
